"Let's Get Together!"
This year's Rubery Festival promises to be the biggest yet, so why not come along to St Chad's Park in New Road, Rubery on 13th June?
Coming from the dark-depths of 2005 and the Rubery Youth Day, the Festival in 2006 was the biggest event to be held on St Chad's Park in over 20 years. Then, in 2007 and 2008, increased efforts were in vain, as weather hampered what looked to be fun filled days. But we're back for 2009 and are keeping our fingers crossed for better weather!
What's happening?
Parade at 12:00pm from the Rubery British Legion, along New Road.
Plus, live music and entertainment in St. Chad's Park throughout the day, including dance troupes, musicians and local bands!
Entertainment for children will include face painting, bouncy castles, fair rides and more...
You'll also find Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Cub Scout groups, local charities and Church Group table top sales.
Rubery's Got Talent
The GRAND FINAL of Rubery's Got Talent will take place at Rubery Social Club on the same day, from 11:30am to 5pm.
Tickets: Adults £4.00, Children £2.50. Available from Roy's Hobbies & Toys, New Road.
